Each bowl comes with a mallet and rubber ring for stability and optimal sound.
Different mallets produce different sounds, so it is recommended to order different mallets separately, like product no. 1715.
NB: Never use a wooden mallet with crystal bowls, though!

Chakra Crystal Singing Bowls
This highest quality Crystal Singing bowl is made of pure quartz powder which is heated to over 1700 degrees Celsius. When heated, the individual particles of the quartz powder integrate and are then shaped into a bowl. These Chakra bowls include the selected notes (from root chakra to crown chakra): C, D, E, F, G, A & B. They are decorated with a coloured lotus on the outside, matching the chakra note.

Cleaning instructions: Clean with lukewarm water on a lint-free cloth. If necessary, use a mild detergent. Be careful: The colouring is not water-resistant.

Guideline for playing a crystal singing bowl
Always place the bowl on the rubber ring for stability and better sounding. Using a mallet, strike the outside rim softly three times. Now rub quietly the outside rim of the bowl, in any direction, using the neutral suede, rubber or silicon end of the mallet, until the desired vibration is created. Vary the angle and speed, for different tones. Remove mallet for long lasting bowl resonance and experience the sound energy resonating within your body.

Some "Do Not's" applying to the crystal singing bowls
Do not “BANG” a bowl by striking too hard and playing too loud. Contrary to metal bowls, these crystal bowls can easily break, so handle with care. Do not play two or more bowls in a very close proximity of each other (at least 30 cm distance in between); this may cause a bowl to shatter. Do not drop a mallet –or any other heavy object– into the bowl. Never place a person's head inside a crystal bowl while playing it. Do not strike or play a crystal bowl too loudly near a person's head/ears.

432 Hertz (Hz)
Sound and music consist in vibrations. The higher the number of vibrations per second, the higher the tone. The unit for this is the Hertz (Hz). 432 Hz is the natural "tone pitch" of the universe. That tone is intertwined in nature, in mathematics, in planetary orbits, in the entire universe.
