Monocorda® - monochord

The monochord is an ancient instrument invented by Pythagoras. He realised through exploring music ratios and harmonics that certain intervals in music had a profound and healing effect not just on humans, but certain ratios also governed the movement of planets.  One such interval having healing properties is a perfect fifth which the monochord uses for healing.

Monocorda® is composed of several strings and is an evolution of the original one devised by Pythagoras.
There are no certain sources that testify how and when such processing took place, but we can understand it based on modern applications.
An instrument of this kind lends itself to creating continuous harmonic sounds that you listen to for a certain period (a minimum of 21 minutes) bring the body and the mind to resonate with the desired frequency.
The effects of this type of treatment are varied and range from simple body relaxation to the experimentation of states of deep meditation.
There are also effects experienced when certain brain waves are reached, in particular the Theta wave and the Delta wave. In these mental states, cells produce substances that promote well-being and health.
